Regular school operations will resume on Monday, January 6th.

Just a reminder, the Suwannee County School District will be closed for Thanksgiving break from Monday, November 25th, through Friday, November 29th.
Regular school operations will resume on Monday, December 2nd.
As a reminder, Monday, November 11th, is Veterans Day, and there will be no school for students. All school activities will resume as normal on Tuesday, November 12th.

Thank you to Branford High School for hosting the October Suwannee County School Board Regular Meeting!
The Suwannee County School Board Regular Meeting began with student remarks and pledge to the flag by National Honors Society (BHS) members from Branford High School.
Special recognition by the Superintendent went to students with perfect scores on 2024 Spring Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Assessments (Branford students).
Florida Heiken is offering no cost eye exams and glasses for children!

With homecoming coming up for both Suwannee and Branford High School, please keep in mind the SCSD Bell Schedule for early release days.
In observance of Suwannee High School's Homecoming Parade, Friday, October 18, 2024, will be an early release day for all Live Oak schools.
We hope everyone enjoys the parade at 3:00 p.m., as well as other homecoming festivities throughout the week.

The Suwannee county School District will resume all regular operations tomorrow Friday October the 11th.

The Suwannee County School District, working closely with local emergency management, local law enforcement, and in consultation with the Florida Department of Emergency Management, has made the decision to close school operations for Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, due to the identified need to shelter evacuees from Hurricane Milton.
This decision was outside of our direct control. After-school extracurricular activities and events will be permitted to continue, weather permitting. There will be no after-school 21st Century programs during the period of closure. Please see any announcements on individual school social media sites for cancellation of other events already scheduled.
The Suwannee County School District will resume regular operations on Friday, October 11. Any changes to this plan of action will be communicated by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10.
Superintendent Roush has announced that normal school operations will resume for students on Wednesday, October 2nd.
