Next stop on the Resiliency Tour – The Benefit Concert!

Benefit concerts are staged as a way to practice philanthropy. In other words – to benefit  human welfare through practicing acts of goodwill and service to others. Citizenship, volunteerism, and mentorship are all different ways to contribute to the wellbeing of our community, our nation, and the world. Gratitude is not only being thankful, but sharing it with others. Gratitude inspires generosity and the desire to share our blessings with those around us. Gratitude is, in effect, citizenship in action.

In November and December, our Resiliency Rocks Tour will take us to our own Benefit Event – The Suwannee Day of Service. For the next couple of months, we will be focusing on the following concept

 Citizenship ***** Volunteerism ***** Mentorship ***** Gratitude

On December 20, 2024 students in Grades 6-12 at Branford High School, Suwannee High School, and Suwannee Middle School will be participating in the first Suwannee Day of Service. Students will sign up with their teachers to participate in an act of service for our community during the school day. We’re looking forward to a great day of putting gratitude into action and being good citizens.
