The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) has released the district and school grades for the 2023-2024 school year, and for the seventh consecutive year, the Suwannee County School District (SCSD) has earned a "B" grade. This consistent performance is a testament to the district's commitment to providing quality education and academic excellence.

In addition to maintaining a "B" grade, the SCSD showed notable improvements in key areas such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The district’s dedication to academic progress is reflected in the performance of its schools, with seven out of eight schools either sustaining their previous grades or achieving higher grades than the year prior.
